Banks Benjamin is a rapper hailing from Avondale and Price Hill. Banks, also known as 10K Banks, first gained attention being a member of the rap collective 10k Band Boyz (YSB Young Swag Boyz) during one of Cincy’s prime rap eras.
Balancing street life with his love for music, Banks frequently moved between the two neighborhoods and attended Withrow High School all while trying to stay ten toes. Banks Benjamin reached new heights when he put his spin on King Von’s “Crazy Story” which sits at 3.3 million views on YouTube. He launched his solo career in 2020 with his debut album “Blame My Thoughts”, featuring tracks like “Ol’ McDonald” and “Showing Love.”
In 2021, Banks dropped “Trench Vibes”, collaborating with fellow Nati artists like Lito the Plug and Yurr Castellano. His 2023 release “Unheard Heart”, followed by its 2024 deluxe edition, showcased his love for cartoon-inspired artwork, drawing influence from shows like “The Boondocks” and video games like GTA.
