Why have one Halloweekend when you can have two?

Radio One Cincinnati threw the very first annual Halloween Jamboree at Sawyer Point and did we have a time! Though Halloween is the following week on the 31st, we celebrated early Saturday, October 26th on a perfect afternoon. In partnership with the Law Offices of Blake Maislin, Community Action Agency, and Boost Mobile— we held one of the best Halloween events you could attend in the Tri-State. Previously, R1 & the Blake Maislin team have celebrated Halloween with drive-thru’s and “trunk or treat” events. This year, we decided to get immersed (and party) with our community!

As families entered the grand entrance at the park, they were welcomed by Mama Bears Mac, Fosters Foodies, Little Trolley Donuts food trucks.

The park was filled with Halloween decor— pumpkins, hay, games, inflatables, and…. CANDY!

From 12-4 p.m., families were able to enjoy great food, music by DJ Diamond, games, prizes and so much more. And, is it really a Halloween event if the Blake Maislin squad doesn’t bring out their cash money BLAKE BARS? The kids got active midway with a (wild) dance contest led by Queen Ms. Ebony J. Seven kiddos were crowned the champs and took home Boost Mobile goodie bags! But, you know we couldn’t leave out the parentals… We watched them battle it out hardcore for a pair of Latto tickets and Coach [Shay] was the winner by crowd vote.
