The Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame just revealed its 2025 inductees!
This year, the Cincy BMWOF organizers will honor Dottie Peoples, Nancy Wilson, the Ohio Players, and The O’Jays.
The announcement was made Wednesday, June 4th at the Hard Rock Casino by Hamilton County Commissioner Alicia Reece, who launched the Walk of Fame in 2021 to honor Black artists with ties to Cincinnati and Ohio.
These four join past inductees like The Isley Brothers, James Brown, Shirley Murdock, The Deele, and Penny Ford.
This year’s induction ceremony will take place Saturday, July 26th, during Cincy Music Fest weekend, at noon at the Andrew J. Brady Music Center and the Walk of Fame on Elm Street. It’s free, open to the public, and guests are asked to wear all white.
The event will include performances from Bigg Robb & Friends, Grammy-winner Regina Belle, and Dottie Peoples.
