Winter is on its way! Prepare for wind, rain, and the first signs of snow in the days ahead.
Cincinnati is gearing up for its first snow of the season as back-to-back days bring rain, wind, and the potential for light snow fall. The city’s snowfall has historically varied, with the first flakes sometimes arriving as early as Halloween. Last year, we saw our first snowfall in mid-November.
Bundle up on your way to school and work! Thursday, we will see a transition from Wednesday’s rain trickle to snow. Possible morning snow showers could hit and lead to the season’s first accumulations throughout the day. Most areas can expect a coating to one inch, while a few spots could see up to two inches. Roads will be mostly wet. Please note bridges and overpasses may become slick after sunset. We can also expect gusts between 30-40 mph, and temperatures to stay in the 30s throughout the day.

Friday will still to be chilly. Lows are reported to being near or below freezing in the morning with highs only reaching the lower 40s. The weekend temperatures will slightly warm up, reaching the upper 40s on Saturday and returning to the 50s by Sunday.
