R&B star USHER was forced to delay his upcoming album after bosses at his record label allegedly refused to release RAYMOND VS. RAYMOND until he signed a new management deal.  The disc was due to hit stores in early 2010, but was bumped up to December (09) and then pushed back again until March (10).

And the ongoing problems with the album are reportedly down to a disagreement between the star and executives at his Jive Records label, according to the New York Daily News.

Sources tell the publication that Jive bosses weren’t happy when Usher cut ties with his manager mother Jonetta Patton in November (09), and won’t release the album until he signs with another management team.

Meanwhile Usher has apparently threatened to walk away from the project and cut ties with the record label.

Do you think this next album (if it ever gets released) will be better than Confessions?
