Lil Wayne has finally announced a new tour, after keeping a low profile following his release from prison in November.

The rapper is set to hit the road in March for his I Am Music II Tour, the sequel to his record-setting 2009 trek that grossed over $40 million.

This week, Weezy announced that he’ll be heading out on a 24-city tour, kicking on on March 18 in Buffalo, New York, making stops in Chicago, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Houston and Atlanta, among other locations through late April.

In addition to Weezy, the I Am Music II tour will also feature Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Travis Barker and Mixmaster Mike as opening acts.

It seems as though Lil Wayne is ready to put the peddle to the medel in 2011. Just his month, he contributed to Nicki’s “Roman’s Revenge 2.0,” and he filmed videos for his “6 Foot 7 Foot” and DJ Khaled’s “Welcome to My Hood.”
