T.I. has gotten back to business as usual after serving federal time in prison just little over a month ago. His talent exceeds the studio as he introduces to us another facet of his character. We knew he could pen rhymes, but we didn’t expect a novel. Who saw that coming from the Atlanta rapper? No question that T.I. is a very articulate man, so it’s quite refreshing to see him evolve as an artist and add to career by writing on this level. Power & Beauty: a Love Story of Life on the Streets is his first book. You may recall us bringing you the news first back in October along with new music, VIEW HERE.
I am about a sixth of the way through the novel, and I think it’s well crafted thus far. An easy read, but entertaining and suspenseful. The story begins with a tragic introduction into two teenagers lives, Power and Beauty. This tragedy propels them into a new life filled with challenges. It deals with the subject of love, talent, hope, crime, and survival. I won’t give too much away, but I would say that T.I.’s first book is a must read!
