Chris Brown’s people are denying reports that he was unable to perform in the Michael Jackson tribute in the U.K. last week because of his criminal record. Several outlets reported that Breezy was banned–a claim that his reps also deny.
According to TMZ, Brown was actually invited to perform at the show in Wales. “However, his previously booked domestic F.A.M.E. tour concert dates didn’t allow him to accept the honor and therefore he never planned to go to the UK,” said Brown’s spokespeople. “He was not banned.”
Brown was, in fact, performing in Florida, North Carolina and Virginia over the weekend.
