We recently took a poll via our new “Random Rant” series on our Twitter and Facebook pages and asked our followers, friends and family to randomly put together a list of their top three favorite female artists in R&B. After a few initial responses, we started thinking of what to do with the results. Here’s what many of you had to say and we wanted you to be the first to support or add to the list by representing for your favorite leading lady in R&B music. More 101.1 The Wiz “Random Rants” to come so be sure to keep your Twitter accounts updated and your Facebook alerts on deck. We’ll be communicating with you once a week to find out what you really think about a few random topics with poll questions and more.

Looks like we’re got a good variety to start with, don’t you agree? View the special gallery featuring some of the current choices. This isn’t an end all, be all list. Instead, it’s a form of showing love to some of the ladies who’ve made R&B music what it is (or should be, depending on how you look at it) today. Is there anyone coming up in the ranks that makes you want to watch their careers a little closely? Future R&B divas can be acknowledged as well.

If you agree or want to see someone added, continue to feel free to name the artist and tell us why she represents the best in R&B – past, present or future. Simply rate this story and add your two cents by posting in the comments section below. This is one everybody’s soon to be talking about so get in where you fit in.
