K’Jon took the stage with such ease, class and grace this past Saturday night opening the show dressed in all white and bumping his fresh new single “After the Club.” He must’ve known that the rain was trying to slide down into the atmosphere, but his decision to have the band, dancers and even guests follow him in suit kept the drizzling rain at bay the entire night.
If you know anything about K’Jon, you already know this brother has been on his grind for years in the music industry. Everyone seemed to be waiting to hear that one song that’s become K’Jon’s breakthrough single “On the Ocean.” I’m listening to the song right now as we speak and still I just can’t get enough of this song.
Easy like the beautiful Sunday afternoon we all just experienced this past week after K’Jon’s show. To see thousands of people on their feet, swaying to this soulful tune and falling in love with it all over again was simply amazing. Steppers, lovers, parents, children and all were in the house representing with love.
Thank you K’Jon for giving us a song that rings loud and clear even when it’s not being played or performed. Congratulations to you as well. Your ship has finally come in and we are elated to be on board with you.
