I’m kind of shocked and tickled to have read this morning’s headlines about the sold out Cincinnati Reds game this weekend. Most Reds fans know how to act and/or govern themselves accordingly during the festivities, but I guess for one fan, it all was just a bit too exciting.

26-year-old Talon Powers reportedly jumped from the stands down, over the right field wall and into the outfield just before 10:00PM during Saturday night’s game.

The game was quickly stalled and Powers was subdued by authorities.

The young man, from New Carlisle, Ohio just north of our neighbors in Dayton, is charged with criminal trespass on place of public amusement – also a first-degree misdemeanor.

Powers heads to court this afternoon to find out what his official consequences will be.

It’s not funny, but it is at the same time. Who does that – seriously? Were any of you at the game, too, and saw Mr. Powers lose his mind on the field? If so, tell us how it looked from your seat by posting in the comments section below. I wonder if the jumbo-tron screens caught the whole thing, too? Somebody fill us in.
