I couldn’t just bring up the lovely Faith Evans without taking you guys back to one of the R&B singer’s biggest hits. So here’s something special for both your eyes and your ears.
Let’s take it back to the year 1995. Yes, don’t you already feel ancient? Don’t worry though that’s what happens when great R&B music is involved. Ok, back to the record. Do you recall the hit single “You Used to Love Me” from our girl Faith?
Released as a single in 1995, the song peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and launched her debut album Faith straight into the lineup of the following year’s hottest R&B efforts.
Of course you do, so back up from the computer right now as we all press play and throw our hands up in the air just like we did with this R&B throwback from the 90s, one of my favorite eras in music period. Man this one takes me back.
