He’s making his way around the world as one of Hip Hop’s most influential voices, but of course, with the fame there comes controversy. As the self-proclaimed, yet highly respected “King of the South,” T.I.‘s star power has continued to grow tremendously.

His recent interview in Atlanta with comedian/talk show host Rickey Smiley recently put some of that controversy to rest once and for all as the noted rapper gears up for a few new projects including a new album. He took a few minutes on-air to discuss meeting President Barack Obama just before arriving at the White House as well as a chance meeting with basketball star Michael Jordan in the rapper’s hometown of Atlanta.
