He’s making his way around the world as one of Hip Hop’s most influential voices, but of course, with the fame there comes controversy. As the self-proclaimed, yet highly respected “King of the South,” T.I.‘s star power has continued to grow tremendously.

His recent interview in Atlanta with comedian/talk show host Rickey Smiley recently put some of that controversy to rest once and for all as the noted rapper gears up for a few new projects including a new album. He took a few minutes on-air to discuss meeting President Barack Obama just before arriving at the White House as well as a chance meeting with basketball star Michael Jordan in the rapper’s hometown of Atlanta.

Lastly, if you check out all three parts of the interview by clicking on each of the links below, you’ll also hear T.I.’s viewpoint on the rumors which actually claimed he had something to do with his wife, Tiny (of the popular ’90s female R&B group Xscape) and the decision to have her possibly pulled from further filming of the hit BET reality series Tiny & Toya, which she starred in during his time behind bars.
