23 Pounds Of Marijuana Crash Through An Arizona Family’s Carport
Maya and Bill Donnelly were jolted from their sleep by the sound of a startling crash. Upon checking their carport the next morning, they found 23 pounds of “that loud” in their dog’s house.
Yep. A whole bundle of mean green valued at $10,000 had left a huge hole in their roof. Police believe that Mexican smugglers didn’t quite secure their package well enough while flying it into the states.
“The package likely fell out of the sky,” Nogales Police Department spokesman Det. Robert Fierros told ABC News. “We have seen ultralight [plane] activity in our town before, but never seen a package that is assumed to be from an ultralight fall so close to the border.”
