Many were taken aback by the sudden passing of Whitney Houston. During her time on earth Mo made sure she received her roses. Monica considered Whitney a mentor and a friend. She referred to Houston by her nickname, Nippy and sought out to express to her audiences abroad her love and admiration for our fallen songbird. While on stage Monica paid her respects to Whitney Houston, and belted out “I Will Always Love You” then leading as the crowd sang background to “You Give Good Love” from her self titled debut album Whitney Houston.
