More and more whispers are being heard regarding the remake of the movie Sparkle. The 1976 classic drama starred Phillip Michael Thomas, Irene Cara, and Lonette McKee . The movie told the story of three talented singers just getting their taste of fame after growing up in the ghetto. One member of the trio became addicted to drugs causing major tension within the group leading to their dismay.
Great news BET’s “The Game” showrunners are in negotiations to remake the motion picture. While there is no indication on who will star in the movie, we have been given one clue as to who may play the role of Sister (the lead singer in the film).
