R&B diva Keri Hilson is setting the record straight about rumors that she’s taking a “leave of absence” from the industry because she’s pregnant by her NBA star boyfriend, Serge Ibaka. The rumor stems from a story posted on Monday by MediaTakeOut According to the gossip site:

“Mediatakeout.com just CONFIRMED that Keri Hilson is pregnant – by NBA superstar Serge Ibaka. The pair are reportedly VERY HAPPY about the pregnancy.

And Keri is being VERY SERIOUS about her new family. Keri just announced that she is taking a ‘LEAVE OF ABSENCE’ from music so that she can tend to her new family.”

Although it’s true that Keri tweeted about a leave of absence, she later clarified her comments, saying, “I’m not TAKING a leave of absence, I TOOK a leave of absence. Decided to finally let my fans know that I did indeed step away for a while.” She later tweeted, “I get how you could THINK you found clues to that conclusion you conjured … but I’m NOT pregnant.”
