You may not be familiar with his name but by now you should be familiar with his work. Jim Paratore founded TMZ, Ellen, Rosie, The People’s Court, The Bachelor, Judge Mathis, Extra, and more. Paratore reportedly died of a heart attack during a bike trip in France on Tuesday, May 29th. He was highly instrumental in Ellen’s comeback. After she came out of the closet he personally went around to tv stations across the country convincing general managers to employ and pick up the Ellen show. He is truly going to be missed.
