DJ Diamond, The Drive at 5, Monday Thru Friday
Inspired by Grandmaster DST, DJ Diamond started his DJing journey in 1990. Practicing on his mother’s record player, he practiced until performing at private parties and weddings. After many gigs, Diamond landed two endorsement deals with Subway and T-Mobile, then he bumped into DJ Skillz at a record store…Skillz asked for some sample mixes, and before Diamond knew it, he had his own mix show during the weekday drive at 5, and Friday nights at The WIZ. His journey does not stop here – it will go above and beyond…as he says “I break records, you just play them”.
