A trio of watch dog media groups have united and released a joint statement denouncing Rihanna’s new video “Man Down”. They also slammed BET for premiering it. The Parents Television council said Rihanna’s personal story and status provided a really great opportunity for her to deliver an important message to female victims of rape and domestic violence to seek help instead of retaliation.
To make matters worse Rhi Rhi took to Twitter telling her fans the video contains a very strong underlying message for girls like me. Paul Porter co founder of Industry Ears and former voice of BET said if Chris Brown shot a woman in his new video and BET aired it the world would stop. Rihanna should not get a pass and BET should know better.
