After 15 years the official biopic of Tupac Shakur may finally be in production, and soon!
Now that Antoine Fuqua is not attached to the Tupac Shakur biopic, John Singleton seems to be picking up the slack. The director is in negotiations to direct the film, which stalled after Morgan Creek and Universal Pictures had difficulty finding an actor to fill the leading role. According to reports, almost twenty years after directing Tupac Shakur in 1993’s Poetic Justice, Singleton reveals that he and Pac became quite friendly during the filming of that project. Because of this, he may have better luck finding a suitable actor to fill the role of the music icon.
