In fact, he’s sending fans an “Open Invitation.” He’s already giving fans a taste of what to expect from his upcoming project by dropping his single, “Stay.” In the visual for the track, he hooks up with his “Baby Boy” co-star, Taraji P Henson, whom he constantly puts his career ahead of until she threatens to leave him. “Stay” serves as the follow-up to “Too Easy” which featured Ludacris.
On his album, Ty says “It was you who inspired me to get back in the studio and do it again…I’ve read your letters, tweets, Facebook, MySpace and emails. I’ve listened to your voice mails and more importantly, I’ve run into you in person and you’ve all wanted me to do it again. So, come 11.1.11, my new album “OPEN INVITATION” will be launched globally for you to listen and feel my heart & soul that I put into the album…” Fans can pick up Open Invitation when it arrives in stores on November 1st.
