Opening Day is here! I was watching the news this morning and Mayor Mark Mallory has declared this day as a holiday. The game is sold out but everybody is welcome to attend the parade. The Findlay Market Day parade kicks off at 11am between Race and Liberty streets. Look for your girl Jade West on my quest and your best friend Don Juan Fasho along with about 189 participants. We’ll be rolling in the Wiz Hummer. Former Reds Joe Morgan will be this year’s Grand Marshall. Make sure you bring the fam out. This is probably the only day when most Cincinnatians will take off from work and miss a day of school and everybody knows why. It’s a tradition what more can I say.
I hope you have your tickets because the game is sold out .The Great American Ball Park will be packed and every attendee will receive a Cincinnati Reds rally towel (lucky). Game time will be at 2:10pm against the Milwaukee Brewer’s! The one and only singer Brian McKnight has been selected to sing the national anthem. Former chief of police Tom Streicher will throw out the first pitch.
During one of the Cincinnati Red’s final spring training games they played the Brewer’s and won 9/8. Let’s do it again Reds!
