Lil Wayne has been hitting the studio a lot recently in preparation for his post-prison comeback album ‘Tha Carter IV,’ and now some of that record’s leftover material is making its way online. Apparently a castaway from recent sessions, Wayne’s people let go of a new track earlier today entitled ‘I Hate Love.’
The track seems to stick pretty closely to the divisive style that Weezy adopted on his last major LP ‘Rebirth.’ With a backing track that touches on both ambient and industrial music similar to Nine Inch Nails, Wayne nearly mimics a rapping preacher. His flow is slower than usual but emotive about the pain that falling in love can bring if you get stuck in a bad situation. via:drewreports.com
