Just in case you missed this week’s exclusive live video stream and fan chat session with R&B music’s diva on the rise Jennifer Hudson, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with tons of updates, the official recap and so much more. The voice we all know and love has officially returned!
Yesterday afternoon, fans and supporters of the multi-talented singer, actress and vocal powerhouse got a rare chance to listen to Hudson’s new single “Where You At” before it officially hits the streets featured as the lead single from her forthcoming sophomore studio release “I Remember Me,” available Tuesday, March 22nd. According to the bubbly singer, the new project will feature strong creative collaborations with artists/producers known in the R&B game to bring about a series of bonafide hits. A few big names already appear in the linear notes ranging from newlyweds and proud parents Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz to R&B/pop balladeer Ne-Yo and the man himself, R. Kelly who actually penned the lead single for Hudson.
She’s more than just a woman with great vocals and a newly slimmed physique (thanks to Weight Watchers). She’s got the kind of energy this music industry needs. Deep soul, strong vocal stamina and hopefully a great sophomore project that keeps real R&B at the very center of it all. So enough rambling from us, let’s get into the recap. Check it all out below for yourself and be sure to let us know what you thought of the hour-long conversation Jennifer held with her fans, her staff and even her adorable but camera shy baby boy David.
