Is Soulja Boy still salty over a Grammy loss from three years ago. The pop rapper, who’s latest album DeAudre Way has been commercially disappointing, to say the least, apparently is still a little resentful over the fact that his hit single “Crank Dat” lost out to Kanye West’s “Good Life” back in 2008.
The rapper claims that he “wasn’t really thinking about it” at first and he was confident that he would “get it next year.” Now, as the 20-year-old’s sales have started to decline and with critics almost universally panning his music, it seems like he’s still pining for his one-and-only Grammy nod. The rapper now feels that “he should have got that Grammy.”
At least he’s confident.
