She is Nike’s very first female designer. No longer just Pharrell ‘s ex, Va$htie is making moves. Our good friends at The Young, Black, and Fabulous had this to report:
YBF chick Va$htie Kola–designer, ex-girlfriend of Pharrell, and Jordan shoe addict—made history this week when it was announced that she designed the Ladies Air Jordan 2 Retro. This makes her the first woman to design a shoe for Nike Air Jordan. The Trinidadian native New Yorker is known in the industry for her downtown style and designs. The limited-edition shoe uses a lavender and deep-purple colorway to deliver a more feminine style, with hints of silver integrated into the laces to complement the metallic midsole. It debuts in stores October 2nd.
