WILL SMITH has hammered the competition in a poll to find the best rapper-turned-actor.
The I Am Legend star, who enjoyed rap success with hits like Summertime and movie themes Wild Wild West and Men in Black, landed 58 per cent of the vote in the MovieTickets.com survey.
Mark Wahlberg came in second with 23 per cent and T.I. edged out Ludacris and Mos Def to land in third spot with seven per cent.
Crash star Ludacris and The Italian Job’s Mos Def both garnered six per cent.
