A deadly school bus accident in Gray Summit, Missouri, just 30 miles outside of St. Louis, has generated headlines this afternoon.  Two school buses and a tractor-trailer were involved in a violent collision this morning reportedly killing at least two people and leaving about 50 others with serious injuries.

Authorities from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department reported that at least one victim in the crash, which occurred around 10:15AM, was a child. The ages and identity of the victims are both unknown, but the buses were carrying eight-grade band students from St. James, Missouri to the local Six Flags theme park in St. Louis.
