This year, Black Friday won’t be black at all. Nicki Minaj has declared the Friday after Thanksgiving as Pink Friday.

The Young Money rapper has dubbed her debut album Pink Friday, she revealed to her fans via Ustream. The highly-anticipated project is set for release on November 23, the Tuesday before Black Friday in the U.S. That is traditionally the biggest shopping day of the year when Americans flock to stores to begin their Christmas shopping.

“To carry on a great tradition of Black Friday, we are going to switch it up this year in honor of the Nicki Minaj album and call that day Pink Friday, and call my album Pink Friday,” Nicki announced in her British accent.

She then signed off with her signature greeting. “It’s Barbie, b*tch!” So will you be one of the millions hitting the streets to pick up the new Nicki Minaj project on “Pink Friday” this year?
