Despite competition in Steve Carrell’s “Dinner For Schmucks” and the Zac Efron “Charlie St. Cloud,” Leonardo DiCaprio’s “Inception” reigned supreme for the third weekend in a row at the weekend box office.

“Inception” pulled in another to bring its three-week domestic total to $193.3 million.

In at #2 was the Steve Carrell-Paul Rudd comedy, “Dinner for Schmucks”, with a $23.3 million opening.

“Salt” earned $19.2 million, dropping from #2 to #3 this weekend, and “Despicable Me” lands at #4 with $15.5 million.

As for new releases, The “Cats and Dogs” sequel, “The Revenge of Kitty Galore”, landed at #5 in its first weekend with just $12.5 million; while Zac Efron’s “Charlie St. Cloud” opened in sixth place with $12.1 million.

That wraps things up this weekend. Next weekend, look out for the release of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg’s action comedy “The Other Guys” and the 3D release “Step Up.”

This weekend’s top 10 is as follows:
