There’s a new billboard advertisement in town that’s beginning to cause quite a stir across the city. Thousands of Tri-state area drivers are reacting in various ways to a local organization’s presentation concerning their establishment Protecting Black Life. The Cincinnati conglomerate recently put up a billboard near Delhi Pike saying “Abortion the #1 Killer of African Americans.”
As both race and abortion are two very sensitive and volatile subjects to discuss, now that it’s on a billboard and in the heart of Delhi, a predominately white and conservative part of town, it has gained some of the most varied responses and attention from residents of all races.
Protecting Black Life and their website ProtectingBlackLife.org claim the billboards were placed in Cincinnati’s highest abortion communities. The organization is said to be operating under the Life Issues Institute and is reaching the black community with the pro-life message, but does that make you agree or disagree with the statement on the billboard or its positioning?
