North Fairmount is experiencing another notice of high crime at the top of this week as Cincinnati police investigate a shooting that left 21-year-old Terry Johnson dead in an SUV on Monday night. Police say one other person, who’s name and current condition has not yet been released, was riding beside Johnson in the SUV at approximately 10:00PM yesterday evening near the Fay Apartments.

As shots were fired at and into Johnson’s vehicle, the passengers attempted to flee the scene, but ultimately crashed the SUV into a building. A suspect has been targeted, but further details of the suspect’s identity have not been revealed. The homicide investigation will continue even as local residents from the Fay Apartments reportedly became unruly at the scene.
