We all know Drake loves his mommy. From the verse in “Successful,” we understood immediately the bond he and his mother share. So much so that Drake took her health into serious consideration as he moved forward with plans to cancel his upcoming tour to tend to the woman that gave him life.
According to XXLmag.com, Drizzy recently took time to explain that he has to tend to his mother. “Despite my best hopes, it is apparent that my mother will need surgery earlier than anticipated,” the Young Money star said. “In light of this news, I have made the difficult decision to cancel my European tour in order to support her during her recovery.”
Currently riding on the waves of much notoriety, respect and public attention to his debut release Thank Me Later, Drake has already sold an impressive 447,000 units during the album’s first week on shelves.
