We all know a good balance of healthy eating and exercise is vital, but First Lady Michelle Obama led by example this week while visiting local D.C. students.

In an event celebrating the launch of her recast President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, Michelle Obama took time to exercise and focus on making the most of your life with healthier eating habits.

Michelle Obama wasn’t the only one getting physical with the children. Star athletes including fitness expert Donna Richardson Joyner, gymnast Dominique Dawes, figure skater Michelle Kwan and NASCAR driver Carl Edwards were also in attendance actively participating in fitness trainings and more.
