(AllHipHop News) “I’ve dreamed of this moment for so long, many said it would never come. Words cannot begin to express how much of an honor it is to have my first solo US cover of [Vogue],” tweeted Kim Kardashian West on April 10.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star addressed a lot in the famous fashion magazine’s feature article. For example, Kim K spoke about dealing with her husband’s mental health issues.

“I think we’re in a pretty good place with it now,” Kardashian told Vogue about Kanye West’s self-admitted bipolar disorder. “It is an emotional process, for sure. Right now everything is really calm. But we can definitely feel episodes coming, and we know how to handle them.”

She added, “For him, being on medication is not really an option, because it just changes who he is. Traveling a lot does set it off, so he doesn’t travel as much as he used to. But honestly, I never want to speak for him, because I am not in his mind.” Kardashian then referenced the considerable online criticism directed at Kanye over the last few years.

The mother of three stated, “What is she doing? She’s not stopping him… Like it’s my fault if he does or says something that they don’t agree with? That’s my husband. I share every opinion that I have and let him know when I think something’s wrong. Or if it comes to him being in the middle of a bipolar episode, I’ll do everything to be supportive and help to calm the situation.”

Last year, Kanye West repeatedly found himself in headlines for his controversial comments. The Hip Hop legend faced significant backlash when he suggested chattel slavery in America was a choice made by the slaves. He was also denounced for supporting Republican Donald Trump’s red hat MAGA movement and advocating for the abolition of the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.

“He doesn’t represent either [political] side. But he doesn’t want to be told what he should be. It can be confusing. I get it,” said Kardashian. “The one thing that I respect so much is that he is who he is, no matter what anyone tries to tell him to do. I can be sitting there crying: OH, MY GOD! TAKE OFF THE RED HAT! Because he really is the sweetest person with the biggest heart. I stopped caring, though. Because I used to care so much. I was making it such an issue in our relationship. And in my life. It gave me so much anxiety.”
