Toya Carter has revealed to the public that she is indeed working on an album or mixtape. Apparently after she spit her 40 second verse on a remix to Bedrock, people were asking when she’d be dropping more music. SMH. People. Look what you done started! She doesn’t sound bad, but…hey, I’m just somebody behind the MIC. Who am I? Lol. What Toya really wanted to know, was what Wayne thouht about her rapping over the Young Money beat. Our good friends over at The Young, Black, and Fabulous had this to report:
“Gumbo Baby” Toya spoke recently about her ex husband Lil Wayne‘s opinion of her rap skills. After she let him hear the “Bedrock Remix” , she says he laughed. But she’s not worrying about him because, she says, men never want to give props to a chick when necessary.
