Everyone’s been calling the radio station asking questions about the largest black community festival and just when is it… Well, the Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion happens this weekend. The date usually falls on the 3rd weekend in August and this year is no different. “The Family: Strong & United” is the theme this year and festivities kick off with various events around the city. Their Heritage Breakfast and Community Job Fair takes places today. On Saturday and Sunday join together at Sawyer Point for a day long celebration with live performances from Cameo and Old School 100.3’s own, Donnie McClurkin. There’s so much in store for the entire family! Look for your favorite radio station’s booth. Stop by and say HELLO! This is a family affair! Click here for more details.
