CLEVELAND, Ohio — Charles Barkley is being called out after suggesting that the Atlanta Hawks “got to take somebody out” after the Cavs set a playoff record with 25 three-pointers Wednesday night.
The Cavs dominated the Hawks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, winning 123-98.
After Wednesday night’s game, Barkley said on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” that “the Atlanta Hawks got to take somebody out.”
Shaquille O’Neal responded quickly: “Man, you can’t say that on national TV. You can’t hurt nobody, Chuck.”
“When a team is just embarrassing you shooting threes when the game is way over, just trying to set a record,” continued Barkley.
