The race of Rachel Dolezal who is head of the Spokane NAACP has come under question. after her estranged mother claimed she is white but is “being dishonest and deceptive with her identity.” According to the Inlander, the Coeur d’Alene Press published an article in which Dolezal’s parents, both White, say their daughter had been lying about her race. They provided provided a picture and birth certificate as proof. When asked point blank if she was Black, Dolezal was literally speechless.
