Serena Williams is a champion again. And this time she did it while facing two problems.

The tennis legend put on a dominant performance to win the 2015 French Open and her 20th grand slam title. In her 6-3, 6-7 (2), 6-2 win over Lucie Safarova, the biggest threat to Serena was not her tennis opponent but rather a case of the flu. It was possible she would be too ill to get this far after she took a break to vomit in her semifinal match. But even when dealing with a crippling sickness, she is never truly down for the count. Michael Jordan had his legendary flu game. Now Serena has her flu tournament.

This is her third time winning the French Open, the most difficult title for most tennis players to obtain. She’s now won all of the grand slam tournaments three times, an unheard of feat in modern tennis.

Serena had played Safarova eight times before and won all of those matches. She is looking to win three more grand slam titles (Steffi Graf has the most all time with 22) to hold the tennis record, and to cement her legacy as the greatest tennis player of all time.
