After VH1 reality show “Sorority Sisters” hit the screen, the media hasn’t stop talking about it. Critics, social media fans, and members of the NPHC have spoken out about their feelings on the show. Advertisers and sponsors even backed out of their agreements due to all the controversy relating with the series.
“Sorority Sisters” cast member Shanna McCormick, former member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, speaks out about the sororities’ decision to expel her and fellow cast mates. She also responds to social media bullies, and shares her regrets with Ms. Ebony J in the exclusive interview below.
As a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, I felt lead to watch the series. As Shanna mentioned in the interview, “There’s a difference in the idea of the organization, the principles of the organization, and the people in the organization.”
