It’s been twelve years since Drumline hit the big screen; the anticipation was high on the sequel until last night. VH1 premiered part 2 of Drumline A New Beat everyone couldn’t understand why the movie didn’t make it to big screen but it was obvious while watching. Viewers voiced their opinions all night and are still trending with the Hashtag #Drumline2 and #DrumlineANewBeat.
Personally, I’ve always been a fan. I loved the first one. But the second didn’t start gaining my attention until 30 minutes toward the end, I was really upset because I found myself excited to see the new one. With that being said I would rate Drumline a New Beat 6 out 10. What number would you rate this movie?
