So when we had “Kool Bob Love” in the office we had to have him help us settle an old school sneaker debate: Nike Air Force 1′s or Dunks?
“I’m old enough to say that I’m the first generation of AF-1 wearers,” he tells TheUrbanDaily.com. “The basketball community accepted that shoe years before the hip-hop community knew anything about it. I challenge any hip-hop head to show me a photo of them wearing AF-1′s in ’83…the Dunks came out two or three years later in ’85 or ’86 but they had a thin midsole. So as a performance shoe there was no comparison…but they looked fly.”
So which sneaker did he pick for ultimate props? Watch the clip to find out.
