STOP AIDS, AIDS Resource Center Ohio, and Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region will bring together community advocates, celebrity performers, live musicians, and health and wellness partners for a day of fun and education about HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention.
There will be free food, arts and crafts, face painting, health and informational booths, and free rapid HIV testing. HIV educators will be on site.
Family Community day will be MC’d by Michael Cotrell, Stop AIDS Board Member, and offers family friendly entertainment from award winning poets such as Floetic Flo, Gifted, Black Budda’fly, Jori An, Lioness, and more.
Music will be provided by DJ Tizie B and live performances by JPhunq & Diamond Russell, Ginger Snap Empress XII & XXI of the ISQCCBE, Connie Linguist and more.
STOP AIDS is a nonprofit agency dedicated to decreasing the impact of HIV/AIDS in the greater Cincinnati area by educating the community about the disease, how to prevent it, and their own infection status.
AIDS Resource Center Ohio is Ohio’s leading nonprofit, community-based provider of client services, prevention education, HIV testing, medical care, pharmacy, advocacy and linkage to care.
