(via bleacherreport.com) – Adrien Broner (24-0 20KOs), Golden Boy Promotions and HBO seemed to have found an opponent they can all agree on. Broner will be facing WBC lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco (28-2-1 21KOs) on November 17, according to Felipe Leon of fightnews.com.

HBO had originally planned to have Broner fight in October but they could not come to an agreement on an opponent for the 23-year-old fighter.

Broner, the undefeated former WBO super featherweight champion, lost his title on the scale in July when he failed to make weight. The fight, which was in danger of being canceled when Broner came in 3.5 pounds over the division limit, went on with Broner paying a large sum of his purse to his opponent.

The fight with DeMarco will be Broner’s first in the lightweight division.
