Our Women’s Empowerment event occurred Saturday, September 28 inside the Duke Energy Convention Center. Our theme this year was “Be Your Best At Every Stage!” The day long event was filled with informative breakout sessions on various topics, health and wellness screenings, vendor and sponsor booths.
Our special guest speaker was indeed non other than the phenomenal, Tisha Campbell- Martin. Known for her star roles in Little Shop of Horrors, School Daze, My Wife and Kids, Martin and more. Tisha a singer, wife, mother and humanitarian shared her life story leaving everyone in attendance inspired. She closed out her speech by asking us to repeat after her and then said “I forgive myself for forgetting that I am a child of God!” View the pictures below.
