Car crashes are the number one killer of children 1 to 12 years old. Car safety is extremely important. When thinking about what car seat to purchase, when to transition to a booster seat and when to let your child sit in the front are all very important decisions to make as a parent.
4. 7 -12 should remain in a booster seat until they are can fit in a seat belt properly.
3. Children 4 – 7 should remain in a forward facing car seat until they out grow it. Then you can move them to a booster seat.
2. Children 1 – 3 should remain in a rear facing car seat until they reach the top height and weight as recommend by the car seat manufacturer. Then you can change them to a forward facing car seat.
