Bouncing off the proverbial top-rope and smashing down with a mighty elbow to the face of the status quo, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka style-The Straight Talk Podcast is back- in-the-building!

Your requests for superlative content have been heard. The radio gods said,”Let there be flow!”-and now there is…

On this Podcast of Straight Talk with Nathan Ivey, Nathan gives props to Lebron James for winning is third NBA MVP award in the last four years, then goes HAM  ( as in hard as a mutha *****) on Pastor Jamal Bryant and any other backwards-thinking religious leader that takes issue with the Presidents support of same-sex marriage.

“It’s a shame that President Obama‘s compassion and love brings out the bigotry and hate in the black church”-Nathan Ivey

Then, Dave Zirin, politics and sports writer for The Nation magazine, stops in to discuss Junior Seau and the politics of head injuries in the NFL. Did Junior Seau shoot himself in the chest so that his brain could be studied? As Dave Z explains,  NFL All-Pro Dave Duerson committed suicide last year in a similar fashion, so it’s not outside the realm of possibility.

It’s only a few minutes of the first segment, but it will give you an idea of what to expect from the show and my flow.
