After watching Ohio’s talent sit in the shadow of artists in other cities, Mike Garb along with Derrick Lorand Jackson and Derrick “Majestic” McKenzie (Ohio Hip Hop Board of Directors) created The Ohio Hip Hop Awards. This week The Ohio Hip Hop Awards (OHHA) celebrates 10 years of servicing the community on a platform that acknowledges Ohioians for the achievements of their hard work in the entertainment industry.

Garb joined me to talk about the priorities & points of the OHHA, including the educational and business aspects, along with what could be expected in Cleveland during the conference this weekend.

Check out my exclusive interview with Garb as he discusses the history of The Ohio Hip Hop Awards, and how artists can be apart of the OHHA Tour. Garb also expressed his passion for helping Ohio talent to reach greater heights in the music business.
